In 2005 Josh first traveled to Nias, Indonesia with a medical relief team to aid in the aftermath of the South East Asia tsunami. Shortly after his return home, the Island was struck with an 8.7 magnitude earthquake—devastating much of the land. Josh returned just one week after the earthquake, this time, with a new team. The lifelong relationships he made kept growing after each trip and the need for continued support has drawn him back year after year. The passion was so real that within the first two years (2005-06) Josh had already been to Indonesia six times. In 2007, Justin was able to experience Nias as well—recalling it being an unforgettable experience.

After Josh and Justin returned from their visit in 2007, discussions began about forming a non-profit organization to further the cause of helping the less fortunate. They believed this was the best way to make the largest impact. In 2011, Love & Inspire Nations through Compassion (LINC) was established. Run by a board, our goal is to provide support where needed to poverty stricken individuals and families by assisting them with their daily physical needs, education and medical expenses, as well as helping to improve the livelihoods of many. We couldn’t be more excited to see what God is capable of doing through this organization.
